Hey everyone, it’s Vanessa from AWM. I hope you all are having a great Monday and had an even better weekend. Springtime is finally here and I’m so excited, even though I prefer hot weather. I’m in the Northwest in Seattle, and thankfully, it was sunny today. I apologize for being MIA a couple of weeks ago due to family stuff, but I’m all caught up now.
Today, I want to talk to you about Streamate Gold Shows, which is one of the most popular questions I get from new and current models. Gold Shows were released in late summer 2011 as a beta feature, and many performers wanted it. I’ve helped with the verification process for Gold Shows, and it’s a great feature that many models enjoy. It’s optional, but it’s a fun way to change things up and make your shows more interesting.
Gold Shows are divided into two phases – the countdown phase and the actual show phase. During the countdown phase, you set up the parameters for your Gold Show, including the goal amount, duration, and theme. Customers can make contributions during this phase to reach the goal amount. If the goal is met, the show proceeds. If not, customers are refunded.
To be eligible for Gold Shows, you need to meet certain criteria, including using the HD encoder for better video quality, ensuring your internet connection is stable, and maintaining a good profile rating. Encouraging positive feedback from customers can help improve your rating.
