Hi, I’m Melissa and I’m Jason, and we are the sexy hippies. We’ve been together for about six years, we’re married and we are expecting our little one. We started camming on Chaturbate in the summer of 2016, and it didn’t take us long to make a bunch of new friends. I had no idea at the beginning how strong that community was or how impactful it could be in my life.

Our chat room has helped us create true friendships with people who are now very intimate parts of our personal lives, which I definitely did not expect when we first joined. Before I started camming, I did not have a very connected relationship with my porn. It never occurred to me to have a relationship with the people who were producing the videos that I was watching. So when I got on Chaturbate, the most surprising thing to me was the fact that there was a community that was interested in including me in it. I even had my first bisexual experience live on Chaturbate too, and afterwards, we received a bunch of emails from people who had seen the show and felt comfortable exploring some of the ideas they had seen us try. It meant so much to me to get that extra response and validation from the community and to feel like I had that kind of impact on people.

I have been really surprised at how much I have gotten out of the conferences I have gone to represent Chaturbate. I have learned from other models, seen what their setups are like, and made friends with different cam models and viewers who have been able to give hugs. It has been so much more enriching than I could have ever imagined, and definitely more so than any other job I’ve had. It’s a chat room full of so many people where ideas get thrown around, some may not work for you, but some may just work for you to try. I can really thank the viewers and other models for showing me or introducing me to activities that I had no idea about and probably would never have tried because I wouldn’t have even known about them.
