Tutorial: My First Time on MyFreeCams
Introduction:
Hello everyone! Today I’ll be sharing my experience as a beginner on MyFreeCams (MFC). This is my first time on the site and I’ll be walking you through my journey so far.
Step 1: Getting Started
When starting out on MFC, it’s normal to feel nervous and uncertain. It took me almost three years to gain the confidence to join the site. It’s important to feel like you have a fan base and the necessary skills to succeed.
Step 2: Setting Up Your Profile
One thing that was important to me was creating a profile. While some models may not see it as necessary, I wanted to have one to stand out. I had some experience with HTML from creating MySpace profiles in the past, but I still found it challenging to navigate the profile settings on MFC. I recommend starting with simple graphics created on PicMonkey and using Photobucket to add them to your profile.
Step 3: Engagement with Members
In my first hour on MFC, I found it overwhelming to interact with so many different people. It’s important to set boundaries by blocking users who are not contributing positively to your chat. Additionally, setting a minimum for private shows can help prevent time-wasters.
Step 4: Seeking Help and Advice
I was fortunate to receive help from a fellow cam model named Sunny. She was incredibly supportive and answered all my questions. Surrounding yourself with helpful and knowledgeable individuals can make a huge difference in your experience on MFC. Don’t be afraid to reach out for advice from experienced members.
Step 5: Managing Your Time
While I plan to continue streaming on my current platform, I see the value in having multiple cam sites to attract different audiences. Splitting your time between platforms can keep things fresh and help you reach a wider fan base. Ultimately, find the balance that works best for you.

Starting out on MFC can be intimidating, but with the right support and determination, it can also be a rewarding experience.
