Hello, my name is Sasha, I’m 24 years old and I work as an independent cam model. I started in this industry when I was 18, so about six years ago. I was young and looking for some fun and an opportunity to make money. I have previously collaborated with a studio, but I find it better for me to work on my own now.
Currently, I work on a couple of different sites, both premium and free. Each has its advantages and I enjoy working on both. My favorite site is the free one, although I don’t have an official title, I consider myself a more of a girl next door type. I have faced some challenges in this industry, such as being blackmailed by members, but I have overcome them. It’s all part of the experience when you put yourself out there.
The best part of this job is making friends and connecting with people on a daily basis. However, the downside is the exposure and potential judgment from others. Competition can be tough, but being my own boss allows me to work on my own terms.
In terms of the industry, I see myself as a mix of a porn performer and a blogger/vlogger. It’s important to take both sides seriously and put your best self out there. I have been open with my friends about what I do and while some may not understand, I am true to myself.
My ultimate goal is to travel the world, have loyal and honest followers, and build genuine friendships. I believe that the industry could benefit from more equal opportunities for independent models in terms of traffic and revenue sharing.
Overall, being a cam model has its challenges but also brings me joy and the opportunity to connect with others in a unique way. Thank you for listening to my story.
