First and foremost, this tutorial is designed for Android users, as we will be focusing on the C4 Broadcaster app. If you are an iPhone user, unfortunately, you will not be able to use the app. Instead, you can open Safari, go to the CAM4 website, and start broadcasting from there.
To begin, open the C4 Broadcaster app on your Android device. You will see a login screen where you can enter your information. Once logged in, you will see options for setting your status message, token goal, and goal description. The status message is what you use to title your room or attract viewers with hashtags. The token goal is the target you want to achieve, while the goal description is a space to provide details like prices or additional information. Make sure to hit save after entering your details.
You can have fun with filters by clicking on the filter icon and selecting from a variety of options along the bottom of the screen. You can also switch between your front-facing and rear-facing camera by tapping on the camera icon. When you are ready to start broadcasting, click on the broadcast button to go live.
During your broadcast, you can change your status message, view the tokens earned, and see how many viewers are in your room. You also have the option to record segments of your broadcast to upload later.
