I’m glad to be back on YouTube after a 3-4 week break due to illness. I was also looking for a new editor, and I’m happy to have found one whose editing style I love.
Today, I’m excited to share with you everything I use to stream on Chaturbate. From cameras to PCs, I’ll cover all the essential tools you need to start streaming.
Camera: Sony ZV-1
My current camera is the Sony ZV-1, which is priced at $650. When I first bought it, it was $800, which is a bit steep. However, this camera is a great vlogging camera, and it’s also budget-friendly.
Here are the three key features I love about this camera:
- Good autofocus: This camera has great autofocus, which means it can focus on your face and the objects in the foreground. This is perfect for streaming, as it creates a nice blur effect in the background.
- Compact size: This camera is small and compact, making it easy to take with me on the go. It can even fit in my pocket!
- Rotating flip-out screen: This feature is amazing for streaming, as it allows you to see yourself while you’re streaming. You can fix your hair, makeup, or whatever you need to do.
One thing I don’t like about this camera is that the batteries die quickly. I go through 4-5 batteries for every 3 hours of stream time.
Affordable Alternative: Elgato Face Cam
If you’re on a budget, the Elgato Face Cam is a great alternative. It’s priced at $89-$120, which is much more affordable than the Sony ZV-1. This camera does the job, but it requires you to download the Elgato webcam software, which can be a bit of a pain.
PC: The Biggest Investment
My PC is the biggest investment I’ve ever made, coming out to $2,000. It includes a monitor, keyboard, mouse, chair, lights, and a desk. If you plan to multistream or want to make more money, I highly recommend investing in a PC. It’s worth it in the long run, as it can help you generate more income.
Other Essential Tools
Here are a few other essential tools I use for streaming:
- Microphone: I use a separate microphone to improve audio quality.
- Lighting: I have a few lights in my room to create a well-lit streaming environment.
- Desk and chair: A comfortable desk and chair are essential for long streaming sessions.
