In this tutorial, we’re going to learn about essential and popular chat applications and bots available on the ChatHub platform. First, I want to show you some selected applications, and also, these applications are as per your personal preference since everyone has a different preference. In this video, we won’t show you an application that many of you might not have because it doesn’t have the original logo for showcasing purposes. When I demonstrate the working of an application, I want the logo to be original, which is why I haven’t included it here.
Ready to dive into the applications now? First, we have Goal – 1, a simple counter that increases after reaching 500 points. When you reach 500 tokens, you complete the goal. You select the message that you want to display in the chat window, and then it starts to count down for you. When you reach a certain goal, it notifies everyone in the chat room.
Moving on to Goal – 2, there’s a similar principle, but in this case, instead of hitting 500 points, you achieve 2,500 points. This is especially useful when you want to encourage the dancers. The principle stays the same: when you reach your desired goal, a notification is sent, notifying everyone in the chat room of your progress.
Next, let’s move to Goal – 3, and here, things get even more interesting. You choose a message for achieving the goal, just like we did in the previous case. However, the message is sent with a delay. In this specific case, there’s a specific message delay of 60 seconds, 12 seconds, and then the message is broadcasted in the chat room. Once the timer starts, you must wait 60 seconds.
Auto Reset World follows the same concept as Goal-1, with the only difference being in the name “Auto Reset.” When you achieve 500 points, you will have to redo the process of reaching the target. This is specifically designed to help you reach higher points as fast as possible without any lags. But I like the Auto Reset (Goal-1) more. When I reach 500, it doesn’t require resetting – it’s automatic. As soon as I’m done reaching the goal, it alerts me that I’m done and it’s almost like receiving a reward. For example, a dancer on stage starts performing when reaching 500 points; however, when they return to their previous position, they are replaced by the second dancer in line, and so forth.
You can customize and set various parameters for the messaging using these applications, so let’s get started on it. First, we’ll cover the Goal – 1 in detail, and then explore the other aspects of the application. As you know, Goal-1 is essentially a counter that needs to hit a specific target: 500 points.
I’ll walk you through the process here. Click on the “Select Goal” button and choose one of the existing goals. In my case, we will use Goal – 1 as an example: increase the goal to 500 and set a target message to be broadcasted upon reaching the goal (we’ll leave this as “done” in our example). Here, you’ll see how many times the goal has been set and whether it has been achieved already. It’s important to review this information every time you go for a new session.
Now that we’ve completed Goal-1, let’s dive into Goal – 2, another popular chat counter. The main difference is that here, the counter is set to 2,500 points. You need to configure the same parameters like we did with Goal-1 but with slightly different values and messages to suit your style.
When you’re using applications like this, you can encourage your audience more because they can watch the counter, see the targets, and receive rewards. By doing this, they’re going to be motivated to participate more actively by sending you tokens.
To set the messages for each goal, head over to “Message Settings”. Here, you can configure the messages according to the targets you’ve set:
– Goal 1: Achieved = “Done”
– Goal 2: Achieved = “Let’s start the game”
You’ve already seen that the messages and the goal are completely customizable to your liking and style. And as you move forward in the process, you have the option to make adjustments as required.
Alright, now, it’s time to move on to the most popular feature – Roll Dice:
It’s a simple random number generator from 1 to 100, which you can adjust according to your preference. You can easily customize the settings, such as allowing users to earn points for each successful roll. Then, you can set how much money is paid out with each roll (for example, $.25, $.35 etc.)
Now, let’s move to the last feature I want to highlight: Hint Menu. In this feature, a user enters a specific word as a “hint” and the bot automatically generates questions related to that keyword.
