SplitCam 10 – How to send to StripChat with SplitCam

In this video, we will learn how to broadcast meetings using the SplitCam software. To start, we will add a webcam and microphone to our scene. If you have not done this before, click on the “Add Video” button and select your webcam, choose the resolution and frame rate, then click on the camera icon. Then, click on the “Add Audio” button and select your microphone.
Additionally, you can add a browser camera, screen demonstration, image, video, slideshow, audio, or text to your scene. You can also add multiple scenes and switch between them at any time by clicking on the “+” button.
Now, let’s set up the broadcast. Go to the StripChat website and click on “Start Broadcast,” then scroll down, click on “Start Broadcast” again, and switch to external software.
Copy the stream key from the StripChat settings and go back to the SplitCam program. Click on the “Stream Settings” button, paste the stream key, and click “Continue.”
Choose a stream name, paste the key, and select your preferred broadcast settings. Make sure the resolution of your camera matches the settings in the broadcast settings. For example, if your camera resolution is set to 1280×720, the broadcast settings should match.
Once you have selected your settings, click on “Save and Close.” Your stream will now appear in the channel list. Simply click on “Go Live” to start the broadcast. If the slider turns green, it means the broadcast is successful.
Check if the broadcast is live on StripChat by clicking “Close” and you should see that the broadcast is successful.
